Sparring rules
The first roll from each combatant will determine turn order, highest roll will go first. From here, sparring follows death roll rules:Each combatant starts with 1000 HP, and each roll will determine how much HP is knocked off from your opponent's pool (eg: you roll a 482. 1000-482=518). The higher the number, the more impactful your attack. Unless it is a 0 roll, every attack is a success. Defense does not need to be rolled, but reaction can be added to your emote as flavour text. Each subsequent roll will pull from your opponent's remaining HP (eg: /random 518). The first to 0 HP loses the spar.

How to Apply
The Whispering Wyvern is an RP tavern hosted by the FC Etoiles Infinitus <<WYVERN>> Mateus.
Currently our opening night is Friday from 6:30PM EST, with bounties being run all through the week around these times. At the moment we are looking to hire more hosts for The Wyvern. This can happen one of two ways:- Join the FC:
The Wyvern whilst being a Tavern, is a standalone project of the FC it is connected to. For more information please review the following link and reach out to any online member. ei-rp.carrd.co

Recruitment form
You do not have to be part of the FC to be part of the Wyvern, though it is encouraged.Unless given another role by a manager or director, general duties are as follows:
- Greeting guests as they come in.
- Handing out “menus” i.e. giving out the link to the carrd menu.
- Serving drinks and food.
- Should it be appropriate, conversing with the guests.The RP we expect from our hosts is very much based on their comfort levels as a roleplayer. Feel like emoting your character making a complicated cocktail when it’s ordered? Go for it! Just want to bring out the food once it’s done being made? Also totally fine. We aren’t going to make you do anything you don’t want to do.The Wyvern and Connecting FC also run our own story arcs from time to time. You will also be invited to partake in these events should you feel like it. These can range from casual hangouts with 'themes', or full on combat events. You will also be invited to any casual rp we do outside of Wyvern hours.

How does it work?
Mission Types
Types of missions will vary depending on the job type. The common options are:
- Monster Hunting
- Investigation
- Relic acquisition
However, missions are not limited to this.Party size will also be determined on the Notice.DiceAll events will use a standard D20 roll unless stated otherwise by the DM.Bounty Tiers
Bounties will fall under one of four tiers. C will be the easiest, with S being the hardest and reserved for adventurers that are already an influential regular of The Wyvern.
Any tier mission can fail depending on the groups choices.
Should a Bounty be failed by the party, it can be readded to the Bounty Board with an added 'Threat bonus'.Tier requirements
C-A rank jobs will be offered to the general public of The Wyvern. No bonuses will be applied and will use standard ACs.
S rank jobs will be reserved to be given out to regulars of The Wyvern under the DMs discretion. These are usually to more active members of our community, be they FC members or Patrons.Note: The Whispering Wyvern and its Affiliates are not responsible for any healing needed from Bounty injuries for Patrons. The Wyvern Clinic is not responsible for any wounds acquired through Bounties for its Patrons. Healing capability should be considered when forming parties.

Once you have your 'Merc card' completed, you will be able to take Notices, or take part in them.

The Rules
In Character
Weapons
Although weapons are permitted on sight, we ask that they are not used outside of agreed upon sparring that follows the rules of the Tavern. We are also a strictly no magic venue outside of permitted spaces.
Neutrality
We are an inclusive venue to all walks of life. Keep all political opinions open minded, or at the door.
Fighting
Fighting is a given in our profession. Should a conflict not be resolved with words, any fighting should be moved from the main hall to the sparring spaces provided, and all sparring rules should be followed.Breaking anything (purposefully) in the main hall or the sparring spaces will result in your removal from the premises and you will be charged for it's replacement.
The Staff
Staff at The Whispering Wyvern are here to provide a service. Please be reminded that treating them poorly will result in your removal from the Tavern.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason.
Theft
Stealing from Staff or other Patrons will lead to your direct removal from The Wyvern.
Courtesy
To ensure all staff can understand and communicate with Patrons, please only speak Common/Eorzean when within the halls of the Wyvern.
Out of Character
IC Only
We are a strictly IC Venue. We politely ask that you don't bring characters that are NPCs, memes, children, voidsent, ashkin, or anything that may be disruptive to the venue to opening hours.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason.We are a morally grey, lore flexible Company. We are unlikely to turn away characters with darker backgrounds unless they become disruptive.
Gil
Staff of The Wyvern will never ask for Gil for any items from the menu. Tips, however, are appreciated.
Bounties
Unless stated otherwise, all rewards from Bounties are IC only.
Pets
Unless having prior permission, please stow away all minions.
Be Mature
We ask that all who visit The Wyvern act with a sense of maturity & respect towards their fellow community members.
You are personally responsible for your own community experience.
We are here to facilitate communities, roleplay, and events generally, not cater explicitly and solely to one's character.
NO fighting is permitted whilst inside the Wyvern main hall. If an issue cannot be resolved between yourselves, take it to one of the Wyvern sparring rooms.
Courtesy
We are an English speaking venue. This means chatter both IC and OOC needs to be in English.
ERP
Whilst we are an 18+ venue, we are a SFW venue. ERP and mature/dark RP is strictly prohibited.
This is not an ERP Venue, please treat our staff and space with respect. This goes for ALL spaces in The Wyvern, including private chambers.
OOC Chatter
Please keep OOC chatter in public channels to a minimum. Should you think someone has missed your post, /tell them to check before reposting.Please do not multibox (RP more than one OC) RP. It makes things confusing for the people around you.
Inclusive
Use of bigoted language, not limited to (lgbt+ phobic, transphobic, ableist, racist ect) is prohibited. Only one warning will be given, if you continue, you will be removed and blacklisted.
Roleplay
You are in control of your character and their actions. Please understand IC actions do have IC consequences & you are responsible for your own fun.
Powergaming, god-modding & metagaming is prohibited. You will get one warning before being removed from The Wyvern.
Should your RP include the use of Job Stones, please get consent for using it when sparring/fighting with someone. Consent is key.
COMMUNICATE with other patrons if you intend to interact with them.
NPCs, memes, children, voidsent, ashkin, or anything that may be disruptive to the venue during opening hours are not permitted and will be asked to leave.
